This year, Marseille is "the place to be" in France since it was awarded the title "European Capital of Culture" for 2013. Numerous shows and exhibitions will take place all year round.
Pharo park
The workshop will take place in the headquarter of the Aix Marseille University in the Pharo park.
This beautiful Park, ideally located just above the Old Port of Marseille, contains a great 19th century "palais" and a wonderful view on the Marseille port and city centre. This venue is at around 20 minutes walking distance from the old port ("Vieux Port") of Marseille or just a few minutes with the city shuttle.
